AARL / RAC Field Day – June 27 – 28th – UPDATE!
The Hamilton Amateur Radio Club is excited to announce that we’ll be participating in ARRL Field Day 2026, taking place right here in Sheffield, Ontario!
See below for event specific updates.
Field Day is one of the biggest events in amateur radio. It’s part contest, part emergency preparedness exercise, and part social gathering. Clubs and operators across North America set up temporary radio stations and practice operating under simulated emergency conditions. It’s a great opportunity to test equipment, sharpen operating skills, and demonstrate how amateur radio can provide critical communication when other systems fail.
Whether you’re a seasoned operator or brand new to the hobby, Field Day is a fantastic way to get involved. Come out to operate, log contacts, help set up equipment, or just see amateur radio in action. It’s also a great chance to connect with fellow members and enjoy some time outdoors.
Interested in participating? We’d love to hear from you! Please reach out to us at president@hamiltonarc.com for more details if you are interested in attending. I will add you to the list for our Field Day specific updates and planning.
