The Hamilton Amateur Radio Club has been bringing local radio amateurs together since 1932.

The club’s story began shortly after Christmas that year, when 45 amateur radio operators gathered at the home of Webb Clemence, VE3KM. That meeting marked the beginning of an organization that would connect generations of amateur radio operators throughout Hamilton and the surrounding area.
More than nine decades later, HARC continues that tradition through operating events, technical experimentation, education, mentoring and friendship.

HARC brings together amateur radio operators of all ages and experience levels to learn, experiment, get on the air and enjoy the hobby together. From traditional voice operation to digital modes and modern radio technology, there is always something new to explore.

The Hamilton Amateur Radio is governed by volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the Membership.
